An Ashland woman was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 138E, between Toketee and Dry Creek, on Tuesday.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 10:50 a.m. the operator of a westbound sedan lost control of the vehicle under wet road conditions, while negotiating a curve. The sedan exited the right-hand shoulder of the roadway, spun and came to rest after striking a tree.

The report said the woman was extricated from the vehicle by medical personnel and transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. She was listed in fair condition at last check, according to a hospital spokesperson. The vehicle sustained heavy left side damage and was towed from the accident scene.

No citations were issued.
