A Roseburg woman was hurt in a traffic crash on Tuesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 2:00 p.m. a 62-year old was stopped behind a line of cars facing westbound in the 3200 block of Northeast Edenbower. The light at Northeast Aviation Drive and Edenbower turned green and the woman began to drive forward. A second vehicle crashed into the back of hers. That driver, a 75-year old woman, said she didn’t notice that the cars were moving slow.

The second vehicle sustained front end damage and had to be towed. The first vehicle could be driven away. The woman whose vehicle was hit initially refused medical attention but was ultimately transported to the hospital for a complaint of pain around her mid-section.

The woman who caused the wreck was cited for following too closely.
