TEACHERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND STEAM SUMMER INSTITUTE

Area teachers are invited to attend the STEAM Summer Institute 2021.

A release from Douglas County Partners for Student Success said early learning through high school educators can register now, for the series of STEAM-related professional learning workshops.

Sessions offered by the Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub will take place August 16th-20th virtually and in-person at Umpqua Community College in Wayne Crooch Hall. The events are open to educators throughout Oregon.

The release said STEAM Summer Institute participants can pick and choose dates and times from a lineup of choices that includes: Project Based Learning, STEAM in Early Childhood, Computer Science Fundamentals, STEAM Hub Lending Library Resources, and more.

There is no cost for attending the sessions. Professional development units for each session will be offered.
