A Roseburg woman was arrested following an alleged criminal mischief incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at about 7:00 a.m. 29-year old Sarah Melville allegedly unfurled a cable from the winch of a vehicle near the corner of Southeast Stephens and Southeast Cass. The suspect reportedly strung the cable across the road and tied it off to a parking meter. Melville was contacted a few blocks away and taken into custody.

Charges included second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief and for two warrants. Bail was set at $32,500.
