A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged menacing incident on Tuesday.

A Sutherlin Police report said 30-year old Colby Walters had been contacted by police numerous times Tuesday and was allegedly very intoxicated. At about 8:30 p.m. Walters thought a male juvenile was talking to him in Central Park, so he pulled out a knife, opened the blade and walked toward the male juvenile saying he would kill him. The juvenile thought he would be injured and multiple witnesses had the same account.

Walters was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct and for menacing. Bail was set at $58,750.
