The Roseburg City Council is meeting Monday night with what appears to be a light agenda.

Councilors will consider a request from the Umpqua Valley Wine Growers Association for a $10,000 grant from the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund to be utilized for a social media campaign project. Information from staff said the project includes the creation of a new website and database to help promote Roseburg area wineries.

Councilors will vote on a resolution to reclassify the Assessment Fund to a Special Revenue Fund. Staff is recommending approval on the request which they say will expand the use of the fund’s assets to support derelict building mitigation efforts.

The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
