Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Friday.

The RPD report said at about 9:20 p.m. 60-year old Henry Cunningham was observed walking in the middle of Southeast Douglas near the fire station. A vehicle almost hit the man and had to drive around him. The man was told to stay on the sidewalk but reportedly proceeded into traffic on Southeast Stephens, where he almost got hit by another car.

Cunningham was taken into custody and found to be trespassed from the city exclusion zone until December.

Cunningham was detained for two second-degree counts of criminal trespass and for second-degree disorderly conduct. The second criminal trespass count was for an incident at 4:00 p.m. when the suspect allegedly refused to leave property in the 1400 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. He was tackled by an off-duty deputy before being taken into custody.

Bail was set an $5,000.
