EXTENSION SERVICE OFFICERS WEBINAR SERIES FOR LANDOWNERS

The Oregon State University Extension Service will offer a webinar series titled “Digital Mapping Apps for Woodland Owners”, in August.

A release said the three-part series will cover commonly available digital mapping applications and how to integrate them into daily land management activities. OSU Extension Forestry Agents Alicia Christiansen and Norma Kline will explain how to use a smart phone or tablet to calculate acres and distances of property features, follow up on road problems, monitor insect damage or invasive plants, and more.

The webinars will be Thursday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will take place on August 12th, 19th, and 26th. Go to: https://blogs.oregonstate.edu/woodlandmappingapps/ for complete information.
