A Roseburg woman was hurt in a crash in Melrose on Wednesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 6:00 p.m. the 62-year old was traveling westbound in the 4,000 block of Elgarose Road. The report said the driver stated she was very tired and must have drifted off the roadway. Her sedan went into a steep ditch and then went up an embankment.

The woman complained of some pain and was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance.
