An active investigation continues following a bank robbery in downtown Roseburg on Tuesday.

Sergeant Daniel Allen of Roseburg Police said just after 10:40 a.m. officers responded to US Bank in the 600 block of Southeast Main Street. Allen said it was reported that a woman had entered the bank and provided the teller with a note demanding money. No weapons were displayed.

Allen said the suspect exited on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. After the suspect left, US Bank went into lockdown until police arrived. RPD flooded downtown with officers and detectives who searched a wide area.
