COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,832, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 595 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 213,339. The new cases include:

*87 in Marion County

*72 in Umatilla County

*64 in Washington County

*63 in Jackson County

*42 in Lane County

*36 in Multnomah County

*35 in Clackamas County

*32 in Polk County

*19 each in Josephine and Linn counties

*14 each in Douglas and Deschutes counties

*13 in Columbia County

*12 in Coos County

*10 in Yamhill County

*8 in Klamath County

*7 each in Crook and Malheur counties

*6 each in Lincoln and Union counties

*5 in Benton County

*4 each in Clatsop, Jefferson and Wasco counties

*3 each in Hood River and Morrow counties

*2 in Harney County

*1 each in Baker, Curry, Sherman and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 53 to 76. 2 each lived in Jackson, Deschutes and Lane counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 155, which is 7 more than on Monday. There are 44 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 more than on Monday.

OHA reported that 4,632 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 2,456 doses were administered on Monday. 2,186 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
