WOMAN JAILED IN ALLEGED ROBBERY INCIDENT

A Myrtle Creek woman was jailed for an alleged robbery incident by Roseburg Police on Friday.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. officers responded to a reported fight in the parking lot of Sherm’s Thunderbird Market on Northwest Stewart Parkway. The report said it was determined that the 26-year old fought with asset protection employees after she pushed past them to try and retain $70 worth of stolen merchandise. The woman allegedly bit one of the employees.

The suspect was charged with third-degree counts of robbery and theft. Bail was set at $51,250.
