1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 17 more people have received new positive test results, as of Friday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 86th COVID-19 related death was a 68-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 2nd and passed away on Thursday.

The Douglas County COVID-19 Recovery Update said the total number of cases is now at 4,122. Of those, 3,930 are people that have received new positive test results, and 192 are presumptive. 4 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 5 locally and 4 outside the area. 116 people are in isolation, 133 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 249 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.

The Thursday recap said that 7 more people received new positive test results for COVID-19 and 1 more person was presumptive.
