Wednesday night, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office issued another Level 3 “GO!” Evacuation Order for the Jack Fire.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell said DCSO had been notified by fire managers that the fire was posing a current and imminent risk to the residences located within the Dry Creek community. O’Dell urged anyone remaining in the Level 3 evacuation area to leave immediately and without delay. That included all recreation areas, homes and businesses located between mile marker 43 east to Eagle Rock Campground.

Residents who have evacuated can call the American Red Cross at 888-680-1455 for resources and assistance.

A Level 2 “Be Set” notice was issued for everything east of Eagle Rock Campground to Soda Springs.
