ROSEBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY OFFERS DRIVE-UP BOOK DROP

June 23, 2021 3:40 a.m.

A drive-up book drop has been installed at the Roseburg Public Library.

Director Kris Wiley said the new book drop, which was donated by the Eugene Public Library and installed on Monday, replaces the outside walk-up drop near the building’s main entrance. Wiley said she is excited to offer this option for patrons.

All library items can be returned at any time in the drop, which is located in the northwest corner of the parking lot on Diamond Lake Boulevard. Library staff will routinely empty the bin and check in items.

Wiley said patrons also can continue to return materials inside the library during hours it is open. Current hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
