5 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY

5 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County. as of Monday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,803. Of those, 3,623 are people that have received positive test results and 180 are presumptive. There have been 80 deaths. 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 4 outside the area. 185 people are in isolation. 549 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 734 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 30 people from Sunday.

DCCRT’s weekend update said that on Saturday there were 21 more people with new positive test results, 1 presumptive was moved to positive with a positive test result and there were 3 new presumptive cases. On Sunday there were 17 more people with new positive test results for COVID-19 in the county.
