A Canyonville woman was hospitalized after her vehicle rolled on Thursday.

Information from Oregon State Police said at 12:40 p.m. the woman was headed southbound on Interstate Five near the landfill exit. For an unknown reason her vehicle left the roadway and went on the embankment, causing it to roll several times. The report said the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle.

She was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center before being transferred to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield.
