DRIVE THROUGH COVID-19 VACCINATION EVENT ON SATURDAY

Douglas Public Health Network, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners and Aviva Health are hosting the next drive-through COVID-19 mass vaccination event on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

A release said the two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be used. All county residents age 12 and older can be vaccinated. Second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be given to those who received their first dose at one of the prior drive-through COVID-19 vaccination events. Residents do not need to preregister or schedule an appointment for this event.

In addition, the Wailani Hawaiian Shave Ice Truck will be at the fairgrounds to provide shave ice creations for free.
