A Roseburg man was jailed following a police pursuit on Tuesday.

A report from Sutherlin Police said just after 5:00 p.m. the 26-year old was reported as being a reckless driver traveling north on Highway 99 North, who caused another driver to go into the ditch near Wilbur. An officer spotted the wanted driver and attempted to stop him, but the suspect failed to yield. The man eventually stopped and was taken into custody.

Charges included attempting to elude police in a vehicle, reckless driving and reckless endangering. After arraignment bail was set at $10,000.
