Cascade Community Credit Union has announced its intentions to utilize its newly acquired West Harvard Avenue property in Roseburg to update the location with a drive-up ATM.

CEO Lynn Calvert said they will also be enhancing their headquarters. Calvert said,
“We are excited to expand the headquarters that house many of the back-office support teams, loan department, and member services teams that assist you in your everyday financial needs”. Calvert said a new community room will also be added to serve residents of the area.

Marketing Director Shelby Beattie said the new drive-up ATM will be located east of the current branch. CCCU purchased both the former Umpqua Homes property and Harvard Avenue Drugs building in 2019.

Since purchasing the property, CCCU has also had the opportunity to work with multiple organizations who have benefited from using the former Umpqua Homes building for training purposes. That has included the City of Roseburg fire and police departments, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Umpqua Community College’s fire-med class.

Beattie told News Radio 1240 KQEN that work on the project should begin in August and be completed by the middle of 2022.
