2 more people have died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 10 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 76th COVID-related death was an 80-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday and passed away on Sunday. The 77th COVID-related death was a 75-year old man who diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 12th and passed away on Sunday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,568. Of those, 3,398 are people that have received positive test results and 170 are presumptive. 17 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 11 locally and 6 outside the area. 187 people are in isolation. 667 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 854 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 38 people since Sunday.
