COVID-19 claims 5 moves lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,665, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 433 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 200,632. The new cases include:

*66 in Multnomah County

*53 in Clackamas County

*45 in Marion County

*40 each in Deschutes and Washington County

*21 each in Lane and Linn counties

*26 in Douglas County

*16 in Umatilla County

*14 each in Jackson and Klamath counties

*13 in Polk County

*9 in Jefferson County

*8 in Columbia County

*7 in Yamhill County

*6 each in Harney, Josephine and Malheur counties

*4 in Wasco County

*3 each in Clatsop and Union counties

*2 each in Baker, Coos, and Crook counties

*1 each in Benton, Curry, Gilliam, Hood River, Morrow and Tillamook counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 50 to 86. 2 lived in Multnomah County. 1 each lived in Marion, Josephine and Washington counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 260, which is 4 more than on Thursday. There are 59 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Thursday.

OHA reported that 30,898 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 16,334 doses were administered on Thursday. 14,564 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
