2 more people have died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 15 more people have received new test results for COVID-19, and there are 2 new presumptive cases, as of Friday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 74th death was a 94-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on February 18th and passed away on March 30th. The 75th death was a 79-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 15th and passed away on May 26th.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,529. Of those, 3,362 are people that have received positive test results and 167 are presumptive. 19 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 10 locally and 9 outside the area. 186 people are in isolation. 615 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 801 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
