COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,628, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 424 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 199,391. The new cases include:

*57 in Multnomah County

*48 each in Deschutes and Clackamas counties

*41 in Marion County

*39 in Washington County

*26 in Lane County

*24 in Jackson County

*21 in Umatilla County

*19 in Douglas County

*18 in Klamath County

*16 in Linn County

*12 each in Jefferson and Yamhill counties

*7 each in Columbia and Josephine counties

*5 each in Crook and Union counties

*4 in Benton County

*3 each in Coos, Malheur and Polk counties

*2 in Baker County

*1 each in Grant, Harney, Morrow, and Wheeler counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 24 to 87. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Klamath, Linn and Lane counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 274, which is 8 more than on Monday. There are 75 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Monday.

OHA reported that 25,851 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 15,160 doses were administered on Monday. 10,691 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
