COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll at 2,622, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 334 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 198,689. The new cases include:

*67 in Multnomah County

*51 in Marion County

*43 in Deschutes County

*35 in Washington County

*28 in Lane County

*26 in Clackamas County

*21 in Linn County

*10 in Douglas County

*7 each in Jackson, Jefferson, and Klamath counties

*6 in Yamhill County

*5 each in Crook, and Josephine counties

*4 each in Benton and in Polk counties

*3 in Coos County

*2 in Columbia County

*1 each in Morrow, Tillamook and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 51 to 67. 2 lived in Clackamas County. 1 each lived in Douglas and Linn counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 248, which is 10 fewer than on Saturday. There are 71 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Saturday.

OHA reported that 29,464 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 17,564 doses were administered on Saturday. 11,900 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
