A short section of northbound Stewart Parkway in Roseburg remains closed due to work on the Stewart Parkway Bridge.

Contractors with the City of Roseburg are replacing 20-foot heavy concrete slabs that tie the roadway asphalt to the bridge. That means the northbound lane is closed from West Harvard Avenue to Stewart Park Drive, which is the entrance to Stewart Park. The southbound lane remains open.

A detour is rerouting traffic around the road closure using West Harvard, Interstate Five and Garden Valley Boulevard. The route through the Roseburg VA remains closed to the public, so cannot be used.

Work is slated to continue until June 18th.
