MAN CITED IN DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was cited after a driving while suspended incident, on Wednesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 2:50 p.m. an officer saw 59-year old Raymond Morton driving in the Safeway parking lot on Northeast Stephens, and knew the suspect did not have a valid driver license. The officer stopped the man’s vehicle and confirmed his driving status.

Morton was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and for failure of a previous violator to file. He was released after the citation was issued.
