There is a case of COVID-19 at Fremont Middle School in Roseburg.

Superintendent Jared Cordon of Roseburg Public Schools said the district received confirmation from the Douglas Public Health Network of the positive case, on Thursday. Cordon said individuals who need to quarantine have been contacted and are at home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms.

Cordon said that students in quarantine will transition temporarily to remote learning.
