A Roseburg man was jailed after a robbery attempt on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 7:00 a.m. the 45-year old went into Cascade Coffee House and told the cashier that he was robbing the place. The report said the suspect did not mention a weapon and the cashier didn’t think the man was capable of robbing her.

The suspect was located a short distance away. Due to what was called “alarming behavior”, the man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
