COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,587, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 507 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 195,684. The new cases include:

*96 in Multnomah County

*90 in Marion County

*58 in Deschutes County

*45 in Clackamas County

*39 each in Lane and Linn counties

*30 in Washington County

*20 in Klamath County

*15 in Jackson County

*14 in Yamhill County

*12 in Coos County

*9 in Polk County

*7 each in Douglas and Benton counties

*6 each in Crook and Josephine counties

*5 in Jefferson County

*3 each in Columbia. Lincoln and Malheur counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 74 to 88. 1 each lived in Jackson and Marion counties.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 339, which is 7 more than on Saturday. The total number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 7 more than on Saturday.

OHA reported that 23,075 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 18,438 doses were administered on Saturday. 4,637 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
