Staff with the City of Roseburg is accepting applications for a vacant city council seat, following the recent resignation of Sheila Cox, who represented Ward 2.

Ward 2 residents must submit a completed application by 5:00 p.m. on June 8th. The council will interview qualified applicants on June 14th. The person appointed will serve the remainder of Cox’s term, through the end of 2022.

Applicants can pick up a form from the Finance Department in the lobby of City Hall. Forms can also be downloaded at www.cityofroseburg.org. Call 492-6866 for more information
