Roseburg Police arrested a man after an alleged disturbance on Monday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 p.m. officers contacted 45-year old Nathan Long in the 2800 block of West Jay. Long reportedly shot the victim several times with an Airsoft BB pistol as he was upset due to a relationship issue. The suspect had allegedly blackmailed the victim to drop the charges against him.

Long was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, reckless endangering, fourth-degree assault, and for tampering with a witness. Bail was set at $118,750.
