Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged harassment incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 3:30 p.m. 64-year old David Vancott reportedly walked up to a victim in the 1400 block of Northwest Veterans Way and punched him in the face for no apparent reason.

The report said Vancott then walked outside and punched another man in the face as well. The suspect allegedly tried to hit multiple other people who were standing in a nearby parking lot, but missed.

Vancott was charged with two counts of harassment and for second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $5,000.
