COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,509, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 808 new confirmed and positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 188,417. The new cases include:

*164 in Multnomah County

*119 in Clackamas County

*84 in Washington County

*81 in Deschutes County

*59 in Marion County

*43 in Lane County

*40 in Jackson County

*37 in Klamath County

*36 in Linn County

*18 in Josephine County

*17 each in Benton and Yamhill counties

*16 in Crook County

*15 in Polk County

*12 in Douglas County

*8 in Umatilla County

*7 in Malheur County

*6 in Columbia County

*5 in Hood River County

*4 in Baker County

*3 each in Jefferson and Lake counties

*2 each in Clatsop, Grant, Morrow, Tillamook and Wallowa counties

*1 each in Curry, Lincoln and Union and Wasco counties

The new death was a 41-year old man in Lane County.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon is 330, which is 15 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 83 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 more than on Tuesday.

OHA reported that 30,994 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 21,621 doses were administered on Tuesday. 9,373 were administered on previous days but were added into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
