A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged trespass incident on Friday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 9:15 p.m. the 37-year old allegedly jumped over a locked gated to get inside a dump truck in the 200 block of Northeast West Avenue. The report said the owner found the suspect inside the dump truck, trying to start it, and told him to leave. The suspect said he was trying to start the dump truck, “so he could listen to music”.

The suspect had apparently been sleeping in the dump truck for the past several days.

The man was cited for second degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,250.
