1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 10 more people have received new positive test results, as of Saturday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 70th death was a 70-year old woman who tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2nd and passed away April 30th.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,159. Of those, 3,005 are people that have received new positive test results and 154 are presumptive. 8 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 4 locally and 4 outside the area. 94 people are in isolation. 307 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 401 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is an increase of 128 people since Friday.
