In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Rose Theatre at Roseburg High School has a virtual production available through Sunday.

The stay-at-home edition of “Check Please” by Jonathan Rand is being offered. RHS Theatre teacher Christina Moroney said the show was rehearsed and recorded all from student’s homes. It was edited by a production team to make the piece of theatre that can be watched for a limited time. Moroney said the plot is about a guy and a girl each enduring a series of virtual blind dates.

To get tickets and view the show, go to: www.rhsdrama.com. The show is on demand, which means once a ticket is purchased it can be watched an unlimited number of times over the three-day period. It is being offered on a “name your own price” basis.

Friday night at 8:00 p.m. a YouTube live talkback Q & A session with the cast will take place. https://youtu.be/EUsWq0Wt8uQ. It can also be viewed later with the same link.

Proceeds from the virtual production will go to the Roseburg High Theatre Department.
