COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,495, as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 990 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 184,912. The new cases include:
*178 in Multnomah County
*101 in Washington County
*99 in Clackamas County
*93 in Marion County
*88 in Lane County
*81 in Deschutes County
*78 in Klamath County
*56 in Jackson County
*22 in Benton County
*16 in Josephine County
*13 in Polk County
*12 each in Grant, Jefferson and Yamhill counties
*11 in Crook County
*9 in Umatilla County
*8 each in Lincoln and Wasco counties
*7 in Douglas County
*6 each in Coos and Tillamook counties
*5 in Columbia County
*4 in Wallowa County
*3 in Clatsop County
*2 each in Baker, Curry, Lake, and Malheur counties
*1 each in Harney, Hood River and Morrow counties
The newest deaths ranged in age from 49 to 97. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Josephine, Malheur and Crook counties.
Oregon said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 334, which is 5 fewer than on Thursday. There are 73 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Thursday.
OHA reported that 49,029 new doses of COVID-19 vaccines were entered into the state immunization registry. Of that total, 34,063 doses were administered on Thursday. 14,966 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
