COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,491, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 928 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 182,916. The new cases include:

*177 in Multnomah County

*125 in Deschutes County

*109 in Washington County

*93 in Clackamas County

*81 in Marion County

*60 in Lane County

*44 in Linn County

*32 in Jackson County

*24 in Klamath County

*23 in Josephine County

*17 each in Douglas and Yamhill counties

*15 in Jefferson County

*14 in Polk County

*13 in Clatsop County

*10 each in Crook and Umatilla counties

*9 in Columbia County

*8 in Benton County

*6 in Wasco County

*5 each in Hood River, Tillamook and Union counties

*4 each in Baker, and Lake counties

*3 each in Coos, Curry and Malheur counties

*2 each in Harney, Lincoln and Morrow counties

The newest death is an 88-year old man from Josephine County

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 339, which is 13 more than on Wednesday. There are 71 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 7 more than on Wednesday.

OHA reported that 39,560 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 26,858 doses were administered on Wednesday. 12,702 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
