A Medford man was hospitalized following a single vehicle wreck on Monday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just before 10:30 a.m. a deputy was sent to the 35,000 block of Tiller Trail Highway in Tiller. A pickup had struck a tree about 20 feet off the road. The report said the man had severe injuries and was not very coherent.

Medics asked REACH Air Ambulance to respond. The driver, a 66-year old, was transported to an out of area hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The crash is under investigation.
