COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,490, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 888 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 182,916. The new cases include:

*153 in Multnomah County

*109 in Clackamas County

*103 in Marion County

*73 in Washington County

*67 in Deschutes County

*58 in Jackson County

*57 in Lane County

*55 in Klamath County

*45 in Linn County

*22 in Josephine County

*21 in Benton County

*17 in Umatilla County

*13 in Polk County

*12 in Columbia County

*10 each in Crook, Curry and Yamhill counties

*8 in Douglas County

*6 in Jefferson County

*5 each in Grant and Malheur counties

*4 each in Baker, Lake and Tillamook counties

*3 each in Coos, Lincoln and Wallowa counties

*2 each in Clatsop, Hood River and Morrow counties

*1 each in Harney and Union counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 73 to 68. 1 each lived in Jackson and Linn counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 326, which is 2 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 64 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 7 fewer than on Tuesday

OHA reported that 40,796 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 23,214 doses were administered on Tuesday. 17,555 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
