COVID-19 claims 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,485, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 780 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 180,700. The new cases include:

*169 in Multnomah County

*111 in Marion County

*89 in Clackamas County

*85 in Deschutes County

*81 in Washington County

*37 in Klamath County

*36 in Lane County

*31 in Linn County

*27 in Grant County

*21 in Yamhill County

*15 each in Crook and Jackson counties

*10 in Josephine County

*8 each in Benton, Columbia and Polk counties

*6 in Lincoln County

*4 in Douglas County

*3 each in Coos and Wasco counties

*2 each in Baker, Hood River, Morrow and Tillamook counties

*1 each in Clatsop, Jefferson, Lake, Malheur and Union counties

The new death was a 95-year old man in Josephine County who tested positive on April 21st and died on Sunday.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 291, which is 4 fewer than on Saturday. There are 66 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Sunday.

OHA reported that 33,721 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 25,099 doses were administered on Saturday. 8,622 were administered on previous days but were added to the state immunization registry on Saturday.
