APPOINTMENTS STILL AVAILABLE FOR DRIVE THROUGH VACCINATION EVENT

Appointments are still available for this Saturday’s COVID-19 drive through mass vaccination event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that several hundred spots remain open. Dannenhoffer said the Phizer two dose vaccine will be administered. Anyone age 16 and older is eligible to be vaccinated.

The event is happening through coordination from the Douglas Public Health Network, county commissioners, and Aviva Health.

Those without a computer can call 671-3646 and leave a voicemail message. A volunteer will call back to complete the appointment process. Those who need help in Spanish can call the Spanish Help Line at 671-1355.
