1 MORE DEATH, 4 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY

1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 4 more people have received new positive test results, as of Tuesday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 66th death was a 61-year old man who died on April 13th and tested positive post mortem on April 14th.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,063. Of those, 2,916 are people that have received positive test results, and 147 are presumptive. 8 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 4 locally and 4 outside the area. 91 people are in isolation. 137 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 228 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 8 people since Monday.
