MAN JAILED FOR ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENTS

A Roseburg man was jailed for alleged disorderly conduct incidents on Sunday.

A Roseburg Police report said the 64-year old was reported to be causing alarm all over the city with his behavior which was described as “tumultuous”. Officers contacted the man on Northwest Kline Street near Hucrest School after warning him several times that if he continued to generate calls, he would be arrested.

The report said after the man allegedly attempted to take some items from juvenile boys while they were skateboarding, the suspect was taken into custody at about 11:30 a.m. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and detained on $2,500 bail.
