COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,460, as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 473 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 175,592. The new cases include:
*135 in Multnomah County
*65 each in Lane and Marion counties
*63 in Clackamas County
*44 in Deschutes County
*16 in Polk County
*15 each in Jackson, Linn and Yamhill counties
*8 in Wasco County
*6 in Columbia County
*4 in Clatsop County
*3 each in Baker, Coos, Jefferson, Josephine and Lincoln counties
*2 each in Douglas and Hood River counties
*1 each in Crook, Tillamook and Washington counties
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with across Oregon is 243, which is 28 more than on Sunday. There are 67 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 more than on Sunday.
OHA reported that 25,474 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 17,649 doses were administered on Sunday. 7,825 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.
