FIRE DISTRICT WARNS OF INCREASED FIRE DANGER

April 16, 2021 2:00 p.m.

A release from Douglas County Fire District No.2 said there is an increased risk of fire danger this weekend.

The release said the weather is forecast to be great for all sorts of outside activities with higher than average temperatures, low humidity and high winds. The release said those conditions are perfect for increased fire risk as well. Though burning has not been restricted yet, officials are asking that everyone pause any burning until there is a change in weather patterns sometime next week.
