A Roseburg man was jailed following a trespass incident on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 1:30 p.m. the 26-year old allegedly refused to leave a home in the 600 block of Northeast Clover, after being told to do so multiple times.

The resident called law enforcement. Officers gave the man several opportunities to leave the area on his own but he refused. The report said the suspect told officers to take him to jail and said he wouldn’t leave on his own.

The report said when officers went to take the man into custody, he pulled his arms away, rolled on his stomach and pulled away. He was eventually detained.

Charges included resisting arrest and second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $7,500.
