A bug was blamed for causing a single vehicle rollover wreck on Monday.

An Oregon State Police report said a 25-year old California man indicated he was traveling westbound on Highway 138 in the Drain area at about 3:45 p.m. when the bug flew in to the sedan through his driver’s side window, causing a distraction. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled down a steep embankment coming to a rest upright.

The report said the driver and a passenger were able to get out of the vehicle and climb back to the highway shoulder. The driver had some visible cuts but otherwise was not injured.
