A fire hydrant was broken out of the ground in a single vehicle wreck on Friday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 4:30 p.m. officers responded to the accident in the 200 block of Northeast Flagg Street. The report said a 69-year old man was driving a motorhome and got his foot stuck on the accelerator for a moment as he was backing up, He was unable to stop, due to broken brakes, according to the report.
